Handmade. Traditional Maltese pastries enjoyed during the Easter season. These are a Christmas limited edition, in a Christmas tree or boot shape. These are 2 layers of shortbread biscuit, sandwiched together with marzipan, and have been made for centuries in Malta, traditionally eaten on Easter Sunday.  I have now made them popular at Christmas. 

Decorated with Fondant.
