1. Where are you located?
We are based in South West Sydney, in the suburb of Prestons. Escape to Malta Eats is a licensed home-based business specialising in Maltese food, baked goods, and gifts delivered across Sydney and selected NSW locations.

We source our Pastizzi from trusted suppliers to ensure authentic Maltese flavours:

3. Where are your biscuits from?
All biscuits, tarts, and Figolli are handmade in Sydney by our qualified pastry chef. Occasionally, we also stock imported Maltese biscuits to complement our fresh homemade range.

4. Can I pick up my order?
 Yes. Pickup is available from Tuesday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, and Saturday until 12 noon. Please call or message first to ensure your items are in stock. Pickups outside these hours are by appointment only. Please check out our Hours of Operation

5. Do you deliver Maltese food in Sydney and NSW?
Yes, we deliver fresh Maltese products throughout Sydney and select NSW locations. Please check our Delivery Dates and Locations page for details. Our deliveries include:

  • Goulburn, Queanbeyan/ACT, and the Mid North Coast – every 3 months

  • Illawarra/Shoalhaven – meeting points in Flinders, Kiama, and Nowra - monthly

  • Central Coast – meeting points in West Gosford, Long Jetty, and Warnervale

  • Sydney Metropolitan (North, South, East & West) – every two months on a Thursday to each zone.

6. What time do you deliver?
Delivery times depend on order volume:

  • Sydney Metro: Thursdays from 9:30am

  • Central Coast, Illawarra/Shoalhaven, Goulburn, Queanbeyan/ACT: usually from 1:00pm
     Delivery times are confirmed closer to the date to ensure all items arrive fresh.

7. Can I pay on delivery?
No, all orders must be prepaid prior to delivery.

8. Is there a delivery fee?
 Yes, delivery fee is a $15 flat fee.

9. How can I pay?
Payments can be made via:

  • EFT (bank transfer)

  • PayID

  • EFTPOS (for pickups and markets)

  • Cash (for pickups)

Please note: Kannoli orders must be prepaid when ordering, as they are made fresh to order.

10. Do you offer dietary options?
Some of our Maltese products cater to dietary requirements, such as vegetarian options. Most items contain dairy, nuts, or gluten. Please contact us before ordering if you have dietary restrictions or allergies, so we can recommend suitable products or accommodate special requests.

11. Do you offer custom orders and hampers?
Yes! We create custom Maltese gift hampers for birthdays, weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. Hampers include a selection of fresh Maltese biscuits, sweets, and pantry items.
