Qagħaq tal-Ġulġlien are traditional Maltese sesame rings, known for their crisp texture and nutty sesame seed coating. Often enjoyed with tea or as a light snack, these savoury biscuits are a staple in Maltese homes. Perfect for gifting, sharing, or pairing with a sweet cup of tea creamed with evaporated milk.
They can be found in any bakery and supermarket all over the island. These are traditional Maltese biscuits made from wheat flour, lemon peel and juice, decorated with sesame seeds.
