Pastizzi are a popular and well known traditional Maltese Food.  The best finger food ever! Pastizzi are usually diamond-shaped or round-shaped and made with a flaky pastry. The pastry is folded in different ways according to the filling.  They are also sold in bars, cafes and by street vendors in Malta. They are a popular breakfast in outer villages, and have been made popular in Australia, the UK, US and Canada by Maltese communities immigrating to these countries.
